How do you treat an angry customer?
One of the angriest calls I ever took was when I was working in a credit union’s call center. This gentleman had had the day from hell.
The boss yelled at him, his tire blew out, his card was shut off because we thought he’d had fraudulent activity. And he was stuck in the rain with a hungry kid. And god knows what else happened, but if it could go wrong...it did.
